With single-window clearance systems, online inspection portals, and digital compliance tools, Gujarat has simplified the process of starting and running a manufacturing business. T Power Transformer was able to set up a new manufacturing line within 90 days due to seamless coordination with state authorities.

In 2022, T Power Transformer commissioned a new facility in Vadodara with the capacity to manufacture up to 1000 transformers per year. In its first year, the unit exported transformers to Kenya, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, and supplied over 300 units to Gujarat DISCOMs.

T Power Transformer conducts training workshops and apprenticeships in partnership with local ITIs. Over 150 youth from Gujarat have been trained and placed in full-time roles in our production, quality, and R&D teams.
Despite the progress, there are areas to improve, such as better logistics in interior regions and skill development for advanced transformer tech. However, with smart policy decisions, Gujarat is well-positioned to become India’s undisputed leader in power transformer manufacturing.
Looking ahead, T Power Transformer plans to establish a second unit in Kutch, Gujarat, focused on high-capacity transformers for mega solar and wind parks. This aligns with the state’s Green Energy Corridor development plans and our mission to power India's clean energy transition.
